After a slow start to www.healthcare.gov there has been definite improvements to the functionality over the past 3 weeks. I have been able to assist over 40 customers in the last 2 weeks alone through a subsidy application and then help them in picking a plan that made sense for their situation.
A few issues that they have noted have been the difficulty in the files transferring properly to the insurance carriers, but if you use a back link to the carrier an agent, at lease this agent, is able to import the data file right to the carrier with the subsidy information included. It makes it so much easier to complete the actually insurance application itself by doing it this way.
